Vending Payment Cancelled but Money Showing? Keep the Original Transaction
A cancelled message on a vending machine and an amount in a banking app can appear contradictory. The useful next step is to preserve the original purchase details. Repeating the purchase to see what happens can make the sequence harder to understand.

Record the original attempt
Note the location, machine identifier, date, approximate time and amount. Say whether a product arrived and copy the wording shown on the machine. If you tried twice, describe both attempts separately. Include the local time zone when reporting across borders. An operator can investigate a clear sequence more easily than a message that simply says the payment failed.
Describe what the bank actually shows
Tell the operator whether the amount is labelled pending or completed, without guessing that it is a second settled charge. Keep your own record of any later change. Avoid sending a full statement, card number, security code or unrelated transactions. If a screenshot is needed, remove unrelated information and use the operator’s verified support channel.
Let support investigate the same transaction
Nayax’s cancellation guidance tells operators not to reprocess a transaction reported as cancelled but charged, and to contact support with its original details. The appropriate resolution depends on the actual payment record. Do not assume that a refund has been issued simply because a machine displayed cancelled. Ask for a case reference and the next update.
Follow up with the evidence
Keep the support reply and check the original entry again at the time advised by your operator or bank. If it remains unresolved, provide the case reference rather than opening several unrelated reports. A new purchase is a separate event, not proof that the first one was corrected. Your bank can explain the status displayed in its own app.
