Office Attendance Changes by Day: Adjust the Vending Refill Plan
An office with a full Tuesday and a quiet Friday may not need the same vending stock pattern every day. Review attendance and product availability together before adding visits or filling every selection to the same level.

Use people present, not total headcount
Ask facilities staff for an appropriate aggregate view of expected attendance by weekday. Avoid collecting personal attendance histories for a vending review. Record unusual events, training days or office closures separately. A company headcount can be much larger than the number of people who regularly pass the machine, so it is a weak basis for a refill schedule on its own.
Compare like-for-like days
Review several ordinary Tuesdays together rather than comparing one Tuesday with a holiday Friday. Track product availability as well as sales. A low sales figure may mean a product was unavailable for much of the day. Keep changes in price, product range or machine downtime visible in the notes so their effects are not mistaken for attendance changes.
Plan around the next busy period
Discuss whether a refill before the busiest day would help more than a visit afterwards. Use actual product-level requirements and the machine’s approved capacity. Nayax’s inventory tools support machine stock and picklist activity where configured, but forecasts still need accurate inputs. Do not assume a dashboard knows next week’s office event unless that information has been considered.
Change one thing and review
Try a clearly recorded schedule or quantity adjustment and review its effect over comparable weeks. Check stockouts, returns and visit effort, not only revenue. Agree how the site will report major attendance changes in advance. This creates a practical feedback loop without promising that a fixed algorithm can predict every office day.
