• How does the customer change a selection or leave the purchase?

Ask about incomplete purchases

Measure the result at your own venue

Do not build a sales forecast on basket functionality alone. During an initial review period, record purchase completion, support requests and how often people buy several items. Also note whether customers understand the screen without assistance. These observations help you decide which changes are worthwhile.
