Useful Vending Fault Photos Without Exposing Customer Details
A clear photo can help a vending operator understand a fault, but a wide shot of a busy workplace may capture information the service team does not need. Photograph the relevant evidence safely and send it through the verified support channel.

Start with the equipment
Take an overall picture showing which machine is involved, then a close view of the displayed message or affected selection. Keep the text readable and avoid reflections where possible. Include the machine identifier if it can be seen without opening the cabinet. Do not remove panels, climb on furniture or reach into the collection mechanism to obtain a better angle.
Add a short written account
State what happened, the time, the product selection and whether an item was delivered. A photograph alone may not show the sequence. Nayax’s cancellation guidance asks for the specific error and transaction time when support investigates payment problems. Copy the exact visible wording rather than interpreting every payment message as a general machine breakdown.
Remove unrelated information
Before sending, check for other customers, workplace documents and personal banking details in the frame. Never include a full card number, security code or password. If a bank-app screenshot is requested, remove unrelated transactions and account information. Use the minimum relevant details requested by the verified operator; do not publish payment evidence in a public review or social-media comment.
Keep the photos with one case
Send the useful images together with the written report and retain the case reference. If the display changes later, add a new time-stamped update to that case. Explain which image shows the original event and which shows the later condition. Good evidence helps support distinguish a recurring fault from a separate incident without asking the customer to repeat the story.
